Built so your people find you faster than 112

Wardeny is community coordination for the moments when official channels are overloaded.

Why we built this

During the 2024 Valencia floods, hundreds of families spent hours wondering whether their loved ones were alive while phone networks buckled and 112 queues stretched to 90 minutes. People who had each other on WhatsApp got through; people who didn't, didn't. The difference was not technology — it was a pre-arranged group.

Wardeny exists to make that group exist before the crisis: a tiny, private circle of family, neighbours and trusted helpers who reach each other instantly when something goes wrong, even when the cellular network is patchy and the official emergency line is overloaded.

What we will not do

  • • We will not sell your location, your contacts, or your messages to anyone.
  • • We will not run targeted advertising. Wardeny is paid for by the people who use it.
  • • We will not replace 112 / 911. If someone is dying, please call them first.
  • • We will not lock essential safety features behind a paywall.

Where we are now

Wardeny is in private beta on web and PWA. Native Android and iOS shells are being prepared for the App Store and Play Store. We are based in Spain and operate under GDPR; data resides in EU datacentres.

Team

Wardeny is a small team led by Carles Siles. We are hiring engineers and a designer. If you want to help families find each other when it matters, get in touch.
